Look Some More Lyrics

A couple acres on the outskirts
A little fenced in piece of red dirt
And the banker had his pen out
He said, "Sign here", I kinda freaked out
All this talkin' about settlin'
Had this old boy backpedalin'
So, I pushed back that contract
Found my car keys and I hit the gas
I don't know what I'm lookin' for
So, I guess I'll go and look some more
A couple girls back, I lost my head
With a hazel eyed brunette
Showed up with, yeah, of all things
A little blue box with a gold ring
So, I reached down in my pocket
To find my nerve but I lost it
Couldn't trust me with her around
So, I put my heart back in lock down

I don't know what I'm lookin' for
So, I guess I'll go and look some more
So many choices
So hard to choose
I can't hold my horses
I got no time to lose
Oh, I don't know what I'm lookin' for
So, I guess I'll go
And take another good long look around
I don't know what I'm lookin' for
So, I guess I'll go and look some more
Guess I'll go and look some more, yeah
Take another good long look around

Montgomery Gentry is a country music duo, founded in the 1990s, consisting of Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry. Eddie Montgomery is the older brother of John Michael Montgomery. Some sources say that Troy Gentry is the son of Bobbie Gentry, which is untrue. Troy's parents are Lloyd and Pat Gentry. Eddie, Troy, and John were in a band called Early Tymz. Eddie and Troy continued to perform after John left to pursue a solo career. The duo went through several name changes before they decided to call themselves Montgomery Gentry. Eddie Montgomery is bald and seemingly always wears a hat. Eddie also has a habit of twirling his microphone on stage, which has become somewhat of a signature.

The band has released five CDs including "Some People Change" which was released in 2006
