Losers Lyrics

There will always be someone better than you
Even if you're the best
So let's stop the competition now
Or we will both be losersAnd I'm ashamed I ever tried to be higher than the rest
But brother I am not alone
We've all tried to be on top of the world somehow
'Cause we have all been losersI don't wanna be laid down
No I don't wanna die knowing
That I spent so much time when I was young
Just trying to be the winnerSo I wanna make it clear now
I wanna make it known
That I don't care about any of that shit no moreDon't care about being a winner
Or being smooth with women
Or going out on Fridays
Being the life of parties
No, no more, noThere will always be someone worse than you
Sister don't let it get to your head
'Cause you won't be on top of the world so long

In constant competitionThis ain't about no one in particular
But I could list a few
I'm removing myself from the queueDon't care about being a winner
Or being smooth with women
Or going out on Fridays
Being the life of parties
Don't care about being harder
Or being Daddy's favorite
Or if you think I'm a mimic
Or if I am a loserDon't care about being a winner
Or being smooth with women
Or going out on Fridays
Being the life of parties
Don't care about being harder
Or being Daddy's favorite
Or if you think I'm a mimic
Or if I am a loserNo, no more
No more
No more
No more
No more
No more

Robert Peter Williams (born 13 February 1974, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire) is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer. While Williams' early pop career started with the hit boy band Take That, he has found far greater success since taking his leave in 1995. Williams has sold over 70 million records worldwide, which ranks him among the best-selling music artists worldwide. He is the best-selling British solo artist in the United Kingdom and the best selling non-Latino artist in Latin America.

Six of his albums are among the top 100 biggest-selling albums in the United Kingdom. He has also been honoured with seventeen BRIT Awards—more than any other artist—and seven ECHO Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted as the "Greatest Artist of the 1990s."

The Candy Songfacts reports that Williams teamed up with his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, to write the first single from his ninth studio album, Take The Crown. "Candy" will be released October 29, 2012.
