Lost Highway (Leon Payne) Lyrics

I'm a rolling stone, I'm all alone and lost
For a life of sin, I have paid the cost
Oh, when I pass, all the people say
"There goes another boy walkin' down the lost highway"Just a deck of cards and a jug of wine
And a woman's lies makes a life like mine
Oh, the day we met, Lord I went astray
I got me rollin' down that ol' lost highwayI was just a lad, nearly twenty-two
Neither good or bad, just a kid like you
Now I'm lost, too late to pray
Lord, I've paid the cost on the lost highwayHey boys, don't start, let's keep it ramblin' 'round
On this road of sin, you're sorrow bound
Take my advice or you'll curse the day
You started rollin' down that ol' lost highway
Oh, you're rollin' down that ol' lost highway
