Lost In a Song Lyrics

I recall '94
We were five simple boys
Named our band Tears For You
That's the thing we would just doWhat started out as just fun among friends
became an obsession that seems to have no endI will always be lost in a song
Want you to hum alongChanged our name to The Plums
Our drummer's kit had seven drums
For our very final show
we got on stage through the window
And then as we parted ways
I joined a band that tried to sound like The SundaysI will always be lost in a song
Want you to hum along
When I turned thirty, I was still thirsty
Because everything else failed
I had no other choice
but to trust in my own voice
I'm not a singer, just a singer of my songs
and I want you to hum alongI will always be lost in a song

Want you to hum along

Norwegian singer/songwriter Børge Sildnes started making music under the pseudonym Dylan Mondegreen in 2005, developing a sound that approached his airy songs from perspectives of both indie rock lilt and '70s soft rock haziness. His debut album, While I Walk You Home, was released in September 2007. The album was well received both critically and in terms of sales, drawing comparisons to Jens Lekman, Prefab Sprout, and other indie troubadours from several eras. The record's warm reception expanded his audience and paved the way for festival appearances and even a tour of Japan.
