Love, Die, Resurrect Lyrics

One has to see what isn't shown
One has to hear what isn't said
One has to get what can't be owned
And then to live when all is deadFrustration is the guide of your actions
You fear this dimension of silence
You're bathing in the dust of illusions
Neglecting the roots of existenceOne has to seek heat in the frost
One has to fall when he should climb
One has to bear his heavy cross
Until he's fallen seven timesBetter face your disgrace
Your stigma shines in your eyes
Love and die, resurrect
Another season to rise
[Repeat]One has to face the loneliness
'Cause life's a crowded solitude
One has to tame the emptiness
And than to feel its plenitudeBetter face your disgrace
Your stigma shines in your eyes

Love and die, resurrect
Another season to rise
[Repeat]Love, die, resurrectBetter face your disgrace
Your stigma shines in your eyes
Love and die, resurrect
Another season to rise
[Repeat]Frustration is the guide of your actions
You fear this dimension of silence
You're bathing in the dust of illusions
Neglecting the roots of existenceBetter face your disgrace
Your stigma shines in your eyes
Love and die, resurrect
Another season to riseLove, die, resurrect
Love, die, resurrect
Resurrect

Obliveon was formed in January 1987, Montreal, Québec, Canada under the almost same name of Oblivion. Martin Gagné and Stéphane Picard were the only original members from the first line-up, rounded up at the time by Francis Giguère. Two demos were recorded by the power trio in that year; the first one in March and the second one, Whimsical Uproar, in September. In 1989, after the departure of Francis, the band upgraded the line-up to a quartet. New drummer Alain Demers and guitarist Pierre Rémillard (ex-A Perfect Murder) completed the line-up, which lasted for four years.
