Love Is Lies (1996 Remastered Version) Lyrics

Well I'm going out
I'm gonna find myself a lover
I'm gonna look until I drop
I'll never stop
I won't give up in any way
Shape or formWell I'm going out
I'm gonna find myself a girl
Take her out into the world
We'll learn to dance
We'll take a chance
We'll start romance all over againLove is lies, love is eyes
Love is everything that's nice
Love is not as cold as ice
But that's what that means to meWell I'm going out
I'm gonna find myself someone
Going to see them just for fun
A love affair
But no one there

It's in my head now it's all goneLove is lies, love is eyes
Love is everything that's nice
Love is not cold as ice
But that's what that means to meWell I'm going out
I'm gonna find myself a girl
Take her out into the world
We'll learn to dance
We'll take a chance
We'll start romance all over againLove is lies, love is eyes
Love is everything that's nice
Love is not as cold as ice
But that's what that means to meWell I'm going out
I'm gonna find myself someone
Going to see them just for fun
A love affair
But no one there
It's in my head now it's all goneLove is lies, love is eyes
Love is everything that's nice
Love is not as cold as ice
But that's what that means to meLove is lies, love is eyes
Love is everything that's nice
Love is not as cold as ice
But that's what that means to me

Buzzcocks are an English punk rock band formed in Bolton, Greater Manchester, UK in 1976, led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Pete Shelley for nearly their entire existence. They are commonly regarded as an important influence on the manchester music scene, the independent record label movement and the punk rock, power pop, pop punk and indie rock genres in general. They are primarily remembered for their singles, a string of would-be hits that combined a strong grasp of pop song craftsmanship with rapid-fire punk energy.
