Love Is Magic Lyrics

He quit believing in music, April '94
She brought back his faith with a kiss and a Cabernet
Too much time driving alone
Now they have each other, body and soul
She dances with him like the eye of a hurricaneJesus walked on water
He made a blind man see
We all just want someone to ride in the passenger seatLove is magic
It's a beautiful, wonderful, marvelous, mysterious thing
Love is magic
Makes you wanna dance, wanna laugh, jump around and make you sing
Love is magic
Her blue eyes can sting you the deepest when the sun goes down
She said in a whisper don't you wish you could fly
He answered her with a nervous laugh,
"I wouldn't know where to go without a road map"
Just take me she says with her arms outstretched to the skyJesus walked on water
He made a blind man see
We all just want someone to ride in the passenger seatLove is magic

It's a beautiful, wonderful, marvelous, mysterious thing
Love is magic
Makes you wanna dance, wanna laugh, jump around and make you singLove is magic
It's a beautiful, wonderful, marvelous, mysterious thing
Love is magic
Makes you wanna dance, wanna laugh, jump around and make you sing
Love is magic
It's a beautiful, wonderful, marvelous, mysterious thing
Love is magic
Makes you wanna dance, wanna laugh, jump around and make you singMake you sing (x8)

Raised in Memphis and based in Nashville, singer-guitarist Drew Holcomb is, on one level, the sum of those musically iconic cities, a songwriter/performer able to balance feel and craft in a way that can only come from someone informed at once by the likes of Al Green and Steve Earle. But the main catalyst behind Holcomb's musical voice has been the road. In the past four years, he has logged in more than 650 concert dates across the country from solo coffeehouse gigs to clubs, festivals, and colleges with his band, the Neighbors.
