Love Is a Thing Lyrics

Love is a thing
A sting
That brings a reason for livin'
Love is a fling
There's never any doubt
Love will unhinge
And singe
And cringe the weak and the hearty
Love is a binge
That pushes logic out
Love has a way of catching
A person unaware
No rhyme or reason
Any time or season
A blight, a fright
A thief in the night
Love is a noose
A ruse

no use to try to resist it
Love is a thing
that no one can live without
Love has a way of catching hold
Like a cold
No rhyme or reason
Any time or season
A blight, a fright
A thief in the night
Love is a word
A word I've heard
Referred to in whispers
Love's girls and boys
Making noise
And after dark in some respects
It's just a bundle of sound effects
Well it's a wheeze, a sneeze
A pop, a cop, a crow
A chicken and a dove
And they can hand it out
Give it up
None of us could live without love
Love is
Love is a
Love is a thing
Ya
