Love Me a Little Bit More Lyrics

Tease me a little bit squeeze me
A little bit, love me a little bit more
Love me a little bit can't get enough of it
Tell me I'm the one you adoreI'm in a pettin' mood you've got me hooked for good
I'm yours and that's for sure
Squeeze me a little bit tease me a little bit
Love me a little bit moreMommy warned me I'd meet girls
Who'd make me feel like this
But she never mentioned these crazy flip-flops
My heart does when we kissOh, what a shape I'm in you've got me in
A spin never felt this way before
You make a livin' seem just like a pretty dream
Love me a little bit moreLove me a little bit, kiss me and never quit
You know I want it that way
I dream of a honeymoon it can't be too soon
Just can't wait for the dayI want to share your life want you to be my wife
A feeling I can't ignore
Crazy bout your charms want you in my arms

Love me a little bit moreThe first day when you smiled at me
You had me on your string
You got me building my dreams
Around the month of June and a wedding ringLove me a little bit can't get enough of it
I'm standing at your door
Love me all the time say you'll be only mine
Love me a little bit moreMommy warned me I'd meet girls
Who'd make me feel like this
But she never mentioned these crazy flip-flops
My heart does when we kissOh, what a shape I'm in you've got me in
A spin never felt this way before
You make a livin' seem just like a pretty dream
Love me a little bit more

Jim Reeves (1923 - 1964), known affectionately as 'Gentleman Jim', was a country singer known for his velvety voice. Through his unique style, which fused the laidback style of crooners such as Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby with country material, he brought country music to a whole new audience. He was also one of the first to bring country music to places outside of America, gaining widespread popularity in Britain, Europe, South Africa and India.

His prolific career was cut tragically short in 1964 by a plane crash. However, even after his death, his popularity did not wane and he continued to have hits some years after his death, with previously unreleased songs and remastered earlier material.

Added 01: One interesting fact was that he recorded an album in Afrikaans for Afrikaners in South Africa. How do I know? I bought the LP many years ago.
