Love Sneakin' Up On You Lyrics

Rainy night, I'm all alone
Sittin' here waitin'
For your voice on the phone
Fever turns to cold, cold sweat
Thinkin' about the things we ain't done yetTell me now, I've got to know
Do you feel the same
Do you just light up at the mention of my name?Don't worry baby, it ain't nothin' new
That's just love sneakin' up on you
If your whole world's shakin' and you feel like I do
That's just love sneakin' up on youNowhere on earth for your heart to hide
Once love comes sneakin' up on your blind side
And you might as well try to stop the rain
Or stand in the tracks of a runaway train
You just can't fight it when a thing's meant to be
So come on let's finish what you started with meDon't worry baby, it ain't nothin' new
That's just love sneakin' up on you
If your whole world's shakin' and you feel like I do
That's just love sneakin' up on you

Bonnie Raitt, (born November 8, 1949) is an American blues and R&B singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was born in Burbank, California, the daughter of Broadway musical star John Raitt. Raitt began playing guitar at an early age, something not a lot of her high school girlfriends did. "I had played a little at school and at camp," she later recalled in a July 2002 interview. "My parents would drag me out to perform for my family, like all parents do, but it was a hobby—nothing more...I think people must wonder how a white girl like me became a blues guitarist.
