Love Song of the Waterfall Lyrics

Ooh, do-do-do-ooh-ooh-do-doo-ooh-ooh
A love song of the waterfall, ooh-ooh
I hear through virgin timbertop
The love song of a waterfall, ooh-ooh
And there in May rose through the trees
A love song born upon the breeze, ooh-ooh
Plunging over rugged rocks
Hear the water slide
Bound to be where you are
Dear ones, here am I
This is heaven's mating call
A love song of the waterfall, ooh-ooh
Ooh, do-do-do-ooh-ooh-do-doo-ooh-ooh
A love song of the waterfall, ooh-ooh
Ooh, do-do-do-ooh-ooh-do-doo-ooh-ooh
A love song of the waterfall
Ooh, do-do-do-ooh-ooh-do-doo-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh

Self-taught on the guitar, Otis Whitman worked at a shipyard in Tampa while developing a musical career, eventually performing with a band known as the "Variety Rhythm Boys". Whitman's first big break came when agent Colonel Tom Parker heard him singing on the radio and offered to represent him. Signed with RCA Records, he was billed as the cowboy singer, "Slim Whitman" and released his first 45rpm single in 1948.
