Love Theme In the Key of D Lyrics

I never thought I'd have days like this.
And baby chasing your love, I never thought I'd chase a love like this. Ooh, things are different, baby. Sugar now you know it's changed. I've got myself together and I've got myself a brand new game. Baby, game.Nights I've been alone, hard working for your touch.
And days I've wandered by, I thought it was too much.
Sugar sweeter, darling honey it's true. The way I love you, baby.. Mamma there ain't nothing you can do.
No, baby, do.Kiss me. Close to me deep down in my soul.
Ooh, when you miss me. I know our love's beyond control. Oh, love me like the river. Love me like the wind.
I'ma be your lover, baby. And you know together we'll be the best, the best of friends. Yeah, baby. Friends. All I need is one sunny day.
Birds are winging free and I'm on my way.
You're the sweetness in my apple, sugar in my tea.
The way I love you baby, oh it's just a melody to me.
Babe, a melody to me.Love, ooh, you come and conquer me.
Like slow consumption, ooh, you took me by degrees.
Trying to find a love is like looking for a needle in the sand. You got me diggin deeper, baby, and I'm using my bare hands. Ooh, my bare hands.I never thought I'd have days like this.
And I never thought I'd have ways like this.
Ooh, things are different, baby.
Sugar now you know it's changed.
I got myself together and I've got myself a brand new way. Baby, way.
