Love To Let You Down Lyrics

Willing to start again, willing to give another try
Willing to pretend but still so dead
Willing to comprehend, willing to give up all my pride
Willing to forget but still so deadAnd it's starting to take its toll, it's starting to unwind
But the quicker that things unfold, the quicker that they subside
And writings on the wall but the walls have all come down
If you can't see past the truth, I love to let you downWilling to walk again, willing to step back in the light
Willing to forget but still so dead
Willing to turn my head, willing to let my feelings slide
Willing to befriend but still so deadAnd it's starting to take its toll, it's starting to unwind
But the quicker that things unfold, the quicker that they subside
And writings on the wall but the walls have all come down
If you can't see past the truth, I love to let you downAnd it's complicated, it's complicated
Everything that I've known what was up is now down
And it's overrated, it's overrated
Everything that I know, I love, I love to let you downAnd I love to let youAnd it's starting to take its toll, it's starting to unwind
But the quicker that things unfold, the quicker that they subside
And writings on the wall but the walls have all come down

If you can't see past the truth, I love to let youAnd I'm willing to start again, to give it another try
I'm willing to start

Life of Agony is an alternative metal band from Brooklyn, NY who are known to incorporate hardcore and thrash elements into their music, however they have a wide range of influences, including reggae (Bob Marley) and alternative rock (Radiohead). They formed in 1989 after Keith Caputo was looking for musicians to form a rock band, he eventually recruited his cousin, Joey Z on guitar and long-time friend Alan Robert on bass. Type O Negative's drummer Sal Abruscato was hired to record albums 'River Runs Red' and 'Ugly' on drums. He re-joined the band when they reformed in 2003.
