Love Will Wait Lyrics

Lying here alone with you
So able to be free
How easy it would be
To give you all of meI'm closer to you now
Closer than I have ever been before
And my body starts to give it all
My heart stops to be sure thatLove will wait
More than just a minute
I'm telling you that
Love will waitIt holds what lies within it
And time can only help us grow
And when we let these feelings go
Waiting there will be loveI feel the ticking of your heart
It's beating so close to mine
Still I don't want to go too far
Until I know that it's rightSomeday when we explore
When we explore the world that's yet unknown
The beauty of it will be worth

The patience that we've shownLove will wait
(Love will wait)
More than just a minute
(More than just a minute)
I'm telling you that
Love will waitIt holds what lies within it
Time can only help us grow
And when we let these feelings go
Waiting there will be loveWe've both been there before
At times too blind to see that
Love will wait
(Love will wait)And when I open up my eyes
I see your face still smiles
That's when I know thatLove will wait
(Love will wait)
I'm telling you that
Love will wait
(Love will wait)And time will only help us grow
And when we let these feelings go
And [Incomprehensible] love
(Waiting there will be love)Love will wait
More than just a minute
(More than just a minute)
I'm telling you that love will wait
(Love will wait)It holds what lies within it
And time will help us grow
And when we let these feelings go(Waiting there)
My love will be waiting there
(Waiting there)
Waiting there will be loveWaiting there will be love

Wild Orchid (1991-2004) were a United States band, featuring Stacy Ann Ferguson (later of the Black Eyed Peas), Stefanie Ridel and Renee Ilene Sandstrom (2 of them transplanted from Kids Incorporated). Wild Orchid began while the girls were in their mid-teens; songwriter Bobby Sandstrom helped them write and record demos. They eventually signed a music publishing deal with Sony's RCA Record. In the fall of 1996, Wild Orchid released their self-titled debut album Wild Orchid.
