Love Yourself Lyrics

Little sister spends her whole life searching
For the man who can touch her heart
But the lover that she's with ain't working
I hate to see her cry, why can't she realize?
She deserves a better situation
Than a fist and a kiss goodnight
I wish she'd take another's invitation
To see that real love is more than being tough
Sister, don't be afraid to let him go
You've got to love yourself
If you want somebody else
To love you
You got to love yourself
You've got to reach inside
If you're ever gonna find
Someone to love you
You got to love yourself
I don't wanna preach the Bible

I just wanna reach the truth
A loverman shouldn't be your rival
Only to raise a hand, never to understand
There's a voice inside every person
That can speak when the heart is numb
You've got to scream before the body worsens
We're just a step away from being free of pain
Sister, don't be afraid to let him go
You've got to love yourself
If you want somebody else
To love you
You got to love yourself
You've got to reach inside
If you're ever gonna find
Someone to love you
You got to love yourself
You've got to love yourself
If you want somebody else
To love you
You got to love yourself
You've got to reach inside
If you're ever gonna find
Someone to love you
You got to love yourself
You got to love yourself
To love yourself
You got to love yourself
To love yourself
You got to love yourself
Oh, my sister, don't be afraid, just let him go
You've got to love yourself
If you want somebody else
To love you
You got to love yourself
You've got to reach inside
If you're ever gonna find
Someone to love you
You got to love yourself
You've got to love yourself
If you want somebody else
To love you
You got to love yourself
You've got to reach inside
If you're ever gonna find
Someone to love you
You got to love yourself
You've got to love yourself
If you want somebody else
To love you
You got to love yourself
