Lovers In My Head Lyrics

I need a second opinion
I want you cross examined
Where there's a will, there's a way
And there's a will, alrightI close my eyes and count to ten
And when I open them again
I want you to pretend that
When you said no, you didn't say a word
'Cause it's easierOh, we're lovers in my head
Lovers in my soul
Disregard what you said
So close your eyes and watch the stars glowI like the face that is hanging
From your pretty little head
I like the way that it's body
Lies on my bedI've not met him but he's handsome
I'm sure you made the perfect choice
I got to tell you I love you
But I lost my voice and couldn't say a word
'Cause it's easierWe're lovers in my head

Oh, lovers in my soul
Disregard what you said
So close your eyes and watch the stars glowWe're lovers in my head
We're lovers in my soul
Oh, we're lovers, yes, we're loversLove flew away
Love flew away from me
Love flew away
Love flew awayOh, we're lovers in my head
We're lovers in my soul
Disregard what you said
Close your eyes and watch the stars glowWe're lovers in my head
Oh, we're lovers in my soul
Disregard what you said
So close your eyes and watch the stars glow, ohSo close your eyes and watch the stars glow, oh
So close your eyes and watch the stars glow, oh
So close your eyes and watch the stars glowWe're lovers, yeah, we're lovers
