Love's to Blame Lyrics

Time and time, I thought through it all
How we loved and loved
And how we fought each other pushing one another
To be somebody elseAnd time and time, the rest of my thoughts
Uncertain if the end was right or wrong
And whether we still should be together
Or with somebody elsePre Chorus:
A lost memory she had water in her eyes
She cried, stay with me and asked how can this be love
If you are leaving me
But darling love's to blameChorus:
And I can't see you right now 'cause my heart just cant take it
Can't be near you right now
'Cause I know you're no longer mine I can't see youIt makes me ache that we had to break
Even though I knew your heart so well
We're strangers in different places
Though we live a mile apartMy best friend's gone, my world has been torn
We'll never share a name never be one

But I will always remember
The years we spent in loveI still think of you
I pray that you are safe
I'm still missing you
But it has to be this way 'cause
I'm not right for you
And that's why love's to blameChorus 2:
And I can't see you right now 'cause my heart just cant take it
Can't be near you right now
'Cause I know you're no longer
And I can't see you right now 'cause my heart just cant fake it
Can't be near you right now
'Cause I know you're no longer mine
And I can't see you
No I cant see you
I just cant see you right nowBridge:
But maybe time will heal our hearts
And maybe after time you'll understand
I said goodbye cause I love youChorus 2No I cant see you
I just cant see you
I just cant see you right now
And loves to blame

For King & Country is the new band name of the Australian brothers of Rebecca St. James, formerly known as Joel & Luke.

‘’We were born and raised in the southern hemisphere, the land down-under… Australia. And in case you can’t tell, we are brothers.

Since before we can remember, music has been our life’s natural backdrop and soundtrack. Our Father was a music promoter turned entertainment manager which gave us a first hand introduction to a very eclectic mix of music and live shows.

In the early 90’s we moved to the USA after our Dad was offered a job in Nashville, Tennessee. Since then, we have traveled the world (together as well as separately) singing, performing and running various aspects of artists’ live shows.

It was out of experiences like these we began working on music together. We have spent the last several years writing and developing what we call our, ‘International-Pop-Rock’ sound.

Music has the peculiar ability to connect with the soul, and we want to use it to encourage… Life is a journey; full of highs and lows; triumphs and sorrows; these are the subjects we write about: Real human experiences. Whether that means sharing about honest struggles, asking unanswered questions, or talking about relationships, our hope is this music will inspire you and each song will relate to you, right where you are.’‘
