Lovin' Arms Lyrics

Seems to me I'm fallin'
And I can't believe my eyes
Don't you know it's love
I'm tryin' to disguiseBut I must confess that
No one else but you
Satisfies my mind so
What else can I do?Here I go fallin' in love
Just knowin' that you'll always care
Your lovin' arms
Will hold me thereSpent some time in learnin'
Run from what you feel
Now you got me stumblin'
Head over heelsPlain to see it's trouble
Yellin' what to do
Sneakin' up on me and
All because of youHere I go fallin' in love
Just knowin' that you'll always care
Your lovin' arms

Will hold me thereSeems to me I'm fallin'
And I can't believe my eyes
Don't you know it's love
I'm tryin' to disguiseBut I must confess that
No one else but you
Satisfies my mind so
What else can I do?Here I go fallin' in love
Just knowin' that you'll always care
Your lovin' arms
Will hold me thereHere I go fallin' in love
Just knowin' that you'll always care
Your lovin' arms
Will hold me there

Poco, founded in 1968 by Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Richie Furay and Jim Messina (both inducted 1997 with Buffalo Springfield), was one of the earliest in the "country rock" genre that was later commercially popularized by bands such as the Eagles. The band was completed by Rusty Young (pedal steel guitar, dobro, banjo and mandolin) Randy Meisner on bass and George Grantham on drums. Poco's 1969 debut, "Pickin' Up the Pieces" (the title being a reference to the break-up of Buffalo Springfield), received some critical acclaim but generated very litttle enthusiasm commercially.
