Lulu Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
Lulu
ah ah ah ah ah Lulu
ah ah ah ah ahWhere the middle
class breaks up
The working class
better wake up
When America was dreaming
Some pigs stole our countryLulu stands by her family
With harmony and history
there's two kinds of stories

Either comedy or tragedyLulu
ah ah ah ah ah Lulu
ah ah ah ah ahLulu works all day long
She goes 9 to 5 just
to stay alive
She'll do anything just
to walk the line
ain't no time to wine and dineHer war time now in the USA
Her husband goes far away
Afghanistan to Iraq
Her husband now
ain't comin' backLulu
ah ah ah ah ah Lulu
ah ah ah ah ahAmerica the beautiful
that's what the sign said
And I welcome every single one
Cause I want them all to stay
And I'll travel and I'll travel
til my very last day
Through the New York harbor
To the San Francisco bayAh ah ah ah ah
ah ah ah ah ahLulu Lulu Lulu Lulu

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
