I am "Cashies Da Storyteller" aka Michael Motley. I am 29 years old currently residing in Montgomery, Alabama. I am the youngest of four kids. I fell in love with music when I saw Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 on a TV show called Soul Train, with the late Don Cornelius. I fell in love with hip hop when I saw "Big Daddy Kane" on his video "Smooth Operator". I was driven to one day to make it as a rap artist. I recorded my first song when I was 20 and I have been rapping on and off ever since. I made my first mix tape "The Art of Storytellin'" which made an impression in my community. As of today I am in the process of working on my new mix tape "Missing Pages". My name is "Cashies Da Storyteller" came from being original and making great music you can listen to. My music has great concepts but my crafty adlibs with crafty punch lines keeps you locked into my music.
My style of music is timeless but creative. I love making songs that taps into people's emotion no matter if it’s a dance record or it’s a political song. I am an all-around artist. My music is innovative with crafty and catchy lyrics. The hook will make you want to hear more of my music and learn more about me as an artist. I feel in my heart and soul that my music can reach a different platform if it was heard around the world. I have done a lot local shows in my state but now I am ready to launch my career on a bigger scale for a broader audience. I now know what it takes. Thank for this opportunity.
