We are the kings of your audio systems, and we demand first rate service and all of your finest belongings. We don't even care if the things you give us even belong to you in the first place. Steal your parents credit cards and use them to buy as much from us as you can. In return you'll help such godly kings create beautiful sounds that will make everyone vomit with joy.
Craq Rooster was formed in 2004 the group set out to produce music in the style of the 80's, but with a new twist. They described themselves as "80's electro pop". The members both before hand produced experimental electronic music in the IDM and Drum N Bass styles. Their new style mixed 80's synths, drums, and vocals with crazy, strange, and humorous lyrics. The lyrics dealt with topics such as cash, gold, magic, wizards, parties, kings, radishes, and animals.
Craq Rooster recorded their first album, The Goosey Gangler early in 2004. The album was well received but not heard by many. With catchy and hilarious songs like Wolf Heroin, Garden Tears, Slop Hate Mix, and The Old Man and the Woods, the album began to reach more people.
Soon after the completion of the first album, another Craq Rooster album was already in the works. Without much delay, Top Wizard was released. This album was still very much in the style of Craq Rooster with their 80's vibe, but also showed the members roots in IDM. Highlight songs include: Electronic Cowboy, One More Clown, Crabcakes 404, Furry Bananas, and Radish King Lullaby.
Both members of Craq Rooster then began to better tune their beautiful sounds for the next four years, and release solo works under various aliases. Now with more perfect sound than ever, Craq Rooster is preparing to release a new album with an amazing new sound. Read more on Last.fm.
