Make It Easy for Me Lyrics

Promise me that if you leave
You won't be coming back again
It hurts to see your face
When you look at me that wayDon't try to take me in your arms
'Cause I don't think that I could find
The strength to let you go
And leave me here aloneI need to break the ties
That keep on breaking my heart
I'm not gonna hang on to
The strings you tore apartMake it easy for me
If you ever loved me
The hardest thing I'll ever do
Is say goodbye, still loving youSo make it easy for me
If you ever loved me
Turn around and walk away
'Cause we've run out of words to sayYou promised me our love would be
A fairy tale that everyone
Would wish for in their dreams

Well, where's my happy endingMemories play in my mind
Frame by frame, I see it all
And fall before my eyes
How could I have been so blindI need to break the ties
That keep on breaking my heart
Not gonna hang on to
The strings you tore apartMake it easy for me
If you ever loved me
The hardest thing I'll ever do
Is say goodbye, still loving youSo make it easy for me
If you ever loved me
Turn around and walk away
'Cause we've run out of words to saySay you're sorry to me a million times
But that will never ease the pain
That I feel right now insideYou can try and make it better
But no matter what you do
Oh, you took away forever
When you told me we were throughMake it easy for me
If you ever loved me
The hardest thing I'll ever do
Is say goodbye, still loving youSo make it easy for me
If you ever loved me
Turn around and walk away
We've run out of words to saySo make it easy for me
If you ever loved me
The hardest thing I'll ever do
Is say goodbye, still loving youSo make it easy for me

Wild Orchid (1991-2004) were a United States band, featuring Stacy Ann Ferguson (later of the Black Eyed Peas), Stefanie Ridel and Renee Ilene Sandstrom (2 of them transplanted from Kids Incorporated). Wild Orchid began while the girls were in their mid-teens; songwriter Bobby Sandstrom helped them write and record demos. They eventually signed a music publishing deal with Sony's RCA Record. In the fall of 1996, Wild Orchid released their self-titled debut album Wild Orchid.
