Make It Up to You Lyrics

Ooh, oh, yeah
Ooh, yeahGotta make it up
(Make it up, make it up)
To you, my love
(Make it up, make it up)Gotta make it up
(Make it up, make it up)
To you, my love
(Make it up, make it up to you)I thought I could make it on my own
Till you left and I felt myself alone
Hiding heart my heart behind my pride
To the world I seemed fine but Im hurt insideHow can I go on this way?
When I want your love back againIve gotta make it up
(Make it up, make it up)
To you, my love
(Make it up, make it up to you)Gotta make it up
(Make it up, make it up)
To you, my love
(Make it up, make it up to you)Youll never know a good thing till its gone

Cause the love I had is the love I want
So Ive decided whatever it takes
Youve gotta be my lover once againBaby, I need all your love
Without your love I just cant carry onIve gotta make it up
(Make it up, make it up)
To you, my love
(Make it up, make it up to you)Gotta make it up
(Make it up, make it up)
To you, my love
(Make it up, make it up to you)Youll never know a good thing till its gone
Cause the love I had is the love I want
So Ive decided, no matter what it takes
Youve gotta be my lover once againBaby, I need all your love
So much that words cant explainIve gotta make it up
(Make it up, make it up)
To you, my love
(Make it up, make it up to you)Gotta make it up
(Make it up, make it up)
To you, my love
(Make it up, make it up to you)Wanna make it up
(Make it up, make it up)
To you, my love
(Make it up, make it up to you)Gotta make it up
(Make it up, make it up)
To you, my love
(Make it up, make it up to you)

The owner of a high, girlish voice, Lodge often played the role of the coy flirt, with a teasing sexuality simmering under much of her romantic material. Born June Carol Lodge in England, she was raised chiefly in Jamaica, and in high school began a relationship with aspiring songwriter Errol O'Meally, who would later become her producer and manager.
