Make Like a Tree Lyrics

all i ever wanted was to be by myself
(leave me alone)
all you ever did was hurt me
instead of help
(leave me alone)
LEAVE ME ALONE
As i touch myself
my cold body
(leave me alone)
you promised death would truly
set me free
(leave me alone)
LEAVE ME ALONE
I NEVER THOUGHT IN A MILLION YEARS
THAT YOU WOULD HURT ME
NOW I PRAY TO GOD EVERY SINGLE DAY
THAT YOU'LL DESERT ME
I NEVER THOUGHT IN A MILLION YEARS

THAT YOU WOULD HURT ME
WHY DONT GO AWAY
Stop teh voices inside my brain
(leave me alone)
teh chatter is what finally drove me insane
(leave me alone)
LEAVE ME ALONE
I NEVER THOUGHT IN A MILLION YEARS
THAT YOU WOULD HURT ME
NOW I PRAY TO GOD EVERY SINGLE DAY
THAT YOU'LL DESERT ME
I NEVER THOUGHT IN A MILLION YEARS
THAT YOU WOULD HURT ME
WHY DONT YOU GO AWAY

Enjoy the lyrics !!!
Pedals On Our Pirate Ships is the “solo” acoustic act of Matt Seymour, former Attackula frontman. However, vocal, electric, percussion, and other acoustic elements are also integrated into his music to give it an almost folk background sound. These elements are provided from various associates of Matt Seymour such as Avail, Landmines, and Liza Kate. The lyrical content is a fairly diversified collection of Matt Seymours stories and experiences with friends in his former home, Richmond, Virginia.

Tired of seeing his real name on flyers, Matt Seymour created the name Pedals On Our Pirate Ships. Pedals On Our Pirate Ships is an appropriate name as the music is a voyage that Matt Seymour embarked on with his bike-riding friends that live a pirate-esque lifestyle. Read more on Last.fm.
