Make Mine Violet Lyrics

Hey, it's nice to get away sometimes... I don't mind... I don't mind
Bitters sailing down my face like I'm ever gonna drink again
I've put your letter on my desk like I'm ever gonna find it there
Mothers say we could grow to be loved some
Like I'd never ever ask again
Make mine special make mine the loudest
Make like I'm never gonna pray again
Well I'm never ever gonna pray again
Well I'm never ever gonna pray again
Well I'm never ever gonna pray - never ever
Hi Hi I'm fond of you
Take me to the sea
Where we'll be happy
A happy you and me
Shivers running down your leg like you've never ever had them there
I'd keep my number in your vest in case you ever wanted me again
Mothers say we could grow to be loved some
Like I'd never ever ask again

Naked sadness makes me tense
Looks like I'm never ever gonna feel again
Well I'm never ever gonna feel again
Well I'm never ever gonna feel again
Well I'm never ever gonna feel - never ever
Let the sun be gone in reverse
Let the words be wrong could be worse
Words'll fade someday they'll become your favorite song
To my surprise
I've gotten hold of a patch of sunshine
To my surprise
I've let 'em go in the back of my mind... well
Quitter says he's almost dead like he'll never ever breathe again
His name tattooed on my chest like I'll ever give a damn again
Mothers say we could grow to be loved some
Like I've never ever changed for good
Make mine simple make mine violet
Make me never have to care again
Well I'm never ever gonna care again
Well I'm never ever gonna care again
Well I'm never ever gonna care again - never ever
Make mine violet, Violet
I'll take mine violet yeah yeah
Make mine violet, Violet
I'll take mine violet yeah yeah
I'll take mine violet yeah
