Mama and Daddy Broke My Heart Lyrics

MAMA AND DADDY BROKE MY HEART
(Spade Cooley)
'49 Unichappell MusicMama and daddy broke my heart
Yesterday when they told me that they must part
I must be brave and I mustn't cry
And I'll love them both till the day that I die
Down on my knees each night I pray
Mama change your mind and let my daddy stay
For I've been so happy all of my life
And I still want mama to be my daddy's wife
I'd trade all my toys and everything
If mama always wear my daddy's wedding ring
For I've been so happy all of my life
And I still want mama to be my daddy's wife
