Man Machine Lyrics

Sitting in the cheap seats underneath the stars
I'm heading back to base, I'll drop you off at Mars
I'm sure I know your face, or what star you're from
I try to make conversation but I'm too far goneI'm a man machine
Drinking gasoline
Super human being
Shooting laser beamsHow you gonna leave, when your bags ain't packed?
And how you gonna shoot, when we're back to back?
How d' you tell a joke, when you can't laugh?
You know that you're the punch line
Better take a bathI'm a man machine
Drinking gasoline
A super human being
I'm a queen's dreamThe dog gives at my homework today
It's not done, it ain't done
I have heard they're not very well
In the sun'Cos I'm a man machine
I'm a queen dream

Drinking gasoline
I'm a queen's dream
YeahHelp
How you gonna live for love lyin' on your back?
And how you gonna keep it clean in a dirty mac?
How you gonna breathe, when you're lost in space?
You're dazed and amused, talking through a different face'Cos I'm man machine
Drinking gasoline
I'm a teen dream
I'm a man machine
I'm a man machine
I'm a man machine
Drinking gasoline

Robert Peter Williams (born 13 February 1974, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire) is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer. While Williams' early pop career started with the hit boy band Take That, he has found far greater success since taking his leave in 1995. Williams has sold over 70 million records worldwide, which ranks him among the best-selling music artists worldwide. He is the best-selling British solo artist in the United Kingdom and the best selling non-Latino artist in Latin America.

Six of his albums are among the top 100 biggest-selling albums in the United Kingdom. He has also been honoured with seventeen BRIT Awards—more than any other artist—and seven ECHO Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted as the "Greatest Artist of the 1990s."

The Candy Songfacts reports that Williams teamed up with his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, to write the first single from his ninth studio album, Take The Crown. "Candy" will be released October 29, 2012.
