Manic Lyrics

One day I'm up next day I'm down
I run from dusk to dawn
The paranoia seizes me
The nightmares carry onI'm looking on the bright side
You're looking on the wrong side
You really don't know which side
A devious dream in my mindThere is no way out and yes
The dye is casting thin
Between the line and razor edge
They crystalize the endI'm looking on the dark side
You're looking on the outside
You'll never know what's inside
A face to erase what you findI know what I'm doing
I'm feeling so fine now
Sorry I worried you
Thumbs up truly, I'm okay I thought todayI haven't had a drink for, say
An age, and yes I'm feeling fit
A day in which I'm never sick

With both ends on the candle litThere is no way out and
I can never be my friend
The enemy I fear is me
So where does it all end

Camel is an English progressive rock group from London, England, United Kingdom. They formed circa 1964 when brothers Andrew and Ian Latimer got together with their respective friends Alan Butcher and Richard Over to form The Phantom Four. The band played extensively around their home town of Guildford, Surrey before changing their name to Strange Bew. The group performed mainly cover tunes until mid-1968 when Ian Latimer quit to get married. Andrew Latimer and Alan Butcher placed an ad in the Surrey Advertiser for a bass player to which Doug Ferguson responded.
