March N' Step (Featuring Grit Boys) Lyrics

Ahh, they shouldn't a done this right hereMarch now, step now, march now, step
March now, step now, march now, step
(Yeah)
March now, step now, march now, step
(Blueberry, still connect)
March now, step now, march now, stepYou gotta march like a soldier, walk it how you talk it
Play it how you say it and stop acting on that hard shit
Stripes on my back, is what ya boy go to war wit
Never been faking or fronting or on that fraud shitYou gotta march like a soldier
(Now on my block we just march)
You gotta walk it like you talk it
(We got the lil' mamas dipping)You gotta march like a soldier
(Now on my block we just march)
You gotta walk it like you talk it
(We got the lil' mamas dipping)I'm grinding, I'm posted up on the block like a stop sign
Raised off of instinct with a mind like Einstein
I'm a certified hustler and a G
Trying to metamorphasize a hundred two, a hundred threeI'm chasing after currency and accumulating green

With the heart of a lion, I'm on the grind like a dope fien
I've got the street smarts of Avon Barksdale
I took a couple hits but I'm still flowing like blood cellsMy money's epidemic, it multiply fast
I'm grinding in the cut like a piece of broken glass
Addicted to the hustle, allergic to being broke
Never falling off 'cuz I stay on my noteYou gotta march like a soldier, walk it how you talk it
Play it how you say it and stop acting on that hard shit
Stripes on my back, is what ya boy go to war wit
Never been faking or fronting or on that fraud shitYou gotta march like a soldier
(Now all my hot boys march)
You gotta walk it like you talk it
(We got the hot girls dipping)You gotta march like a soldier
(Now all my hot boys march)
You gotta walk it like you talk it
(We got the hot girls dipping)Ay, get off my dick, Hollygroove Weezy
Young money billionaire, Herms winter ware
I'm trying to get somewhere like I ain't never been no where
They probably suffocate, trying to breathe this endo airHalt, who goes there, nigga I live there
I run on top of water, I walk on thin air
I ride around with a MAC10 squared
Thats a pair of semi-automatic shootin' everywhereI don't care if authority come by here
They get it just like them niggaz who ain't from by here
Yeah and I'm extra 'bout it
If I get in beef, I do something about it before I get outYeah, Lil' Wayne never dropped the Lil'
I gave Paul a hundred thousand for my grill
Yeah, I'm so New Orleans that I can't hide
You know I'm cutting something, I'm spittin' for Roc side, WeezyYou gotta march like a soldier, walk it how you talk it
Play it how you say it and stop acting on that hard shit
Stripes on my back, is what ya boy go to war wit
Never been faking or fronting or on that fraud shitYou gotta march like a soldier
(Now all my dope boys march)
You gotta walk it like you talk it
(We got the dope girls dipping)You gotta march like a soldier
(Now all my dope boys march)
You gotta walk it like you talk it
(We got the dope girls dipping)I ain't never had a hand, I ain't never been a beggar
On the grind like a bootlegger, I'm a go getter
I'm Bobby Fischer on the mic, making chess moves
This suckers playin' checkers, simply destined to loseThe Martha Stewart made it blind
See the chains bump ends
Me and a couple lady friends, blowing piff in the wind
I got the wrist ware, smooth and sleekNothing but [Incomprehensible]
You ain't never saw a watch like this, so go ahead and take a peek
I'm massive in the streets like a diesel truck
Endulging in that purple stuff, gettin' full of that puff, puffTote the iron, I'm double dutch
I'm ice water up in the clutch
Place your bet, I'll call ya bluff
Paul Wall, baby, thats you gotYou gotta march like a soldier, walk it how you talk it
Play it how you say it and stop acting on that hard shit
Stripes on my back, is what ya boy go to war wit
Never been faking or fronting or on that fraud shitYou gotta march like a soldier
(Now all my dope boys march)
You gotta walk it like you talk it
(We got the dope girls dipping)You gotta march like a soldier
(Now all my dope boys march)
You gotta walk it like you talk it
(We got the dope girls dipping)

Paul Wall (born Paul Slayton on March 30, 1980) is an American rapper, DJ, and promoter from Houston, Texas. Notable as one of the few successful white Southern rappers, Slayton is affiliated with Swishahouse Records, formerly Swisha Blast Records. Slayton is a graduate of Jersey Village High School and studied mass communications at the University of Houston for three years. Paul Wall was originally one-half of Houston power duo The Color Changing Click, alongside long-time partner (and now estranged acquaintance) Chamillionaire.

Wall's first music industry exposure came as a street team member on the Northwest side of Houston, promoting southern artists such as T.I. and labels like Cash Money and The New No Limit. He is also an accomplished and proficient mixtape and party DJ, known for producing mixtapes in the now-well-known screwed & chopped style, which was invented by the late DJ Screw. While he has recently stated on record that South LE. (in Houston's southside) is his base of operations, it is not the neighborhood that Paul Wall is actually from. Paul Wall has claimed several such neighborhoods over his career, starting with De Soto in Acres Homes (his original home neighborhood), then switching to Gulf Bank (also in Acres Homes).

Paul Wall, Chamillionaire and Jon Higgins were originally affiliated with Swishahouse Records, but left for Paid in Full Records a short time later. After several mixtape and independent releases, including the critically acclaimed Get Ya Mind Correct, the two parted ways on bad terms. Chamillionaire continued to release independent records, while Paul Wall returned to the Swishahouse fold. This move allowed him to appear on Mike Jones' first commercially distributed single, "Still Tippin'", from his first major label album Who Is Mike Jones?.

His major label debut, The People's Champ, has produced a lead single, "Sittin' Sidewayz", which is receiving national radio and television play. In August, 2005, rumors began to circulate that Paul Wall and Chamillionaire had settled any differences that remained between them, and are again on good terms with one another. Paul Wall also appeared with GLC on the song Drive Slow on Kanye West's second solo album, Late Registration.

Paul Wall is the owner and proprietor of TV Jewelry in Houston. The store specializes in the production of grills, silver, gold, or platinum caps and diamond inlays (usually princess-cut diamonds). Grills have become a growing trend in rap culture and have even influenced its own song. "Grillz", by Nelly ft. Paul Wall along with other artists, where at one point Paul raps "Call me George Foreman 'cause I'm sellin' everybody grillz.)
