Marking Stone Blues Lyrics

Walking around at midnight
Looking for my marking stone
Walking around at midnight baby
Looking for my marking stone
I was born-out this way
I was born-out this way
I sure don't mind aloneOne foot go the right way
The other one won't behave
One foot go the right way
The other won't behave
I feel like I'm itching
Yeah Lord I feel like I'm itching
I'm gonna jump me way down in my graveWell I am an old man
I've got nothing more to say
Well I am an old man
I've got nothing more to say
I got one foot in the bone yard
I got one foot at the bone yard

And the other one down to prayIll ride me a train
Take me to higher ground
I'm gonna ride me a train
Take me to higher ground
The one that I been on
Yeah, the one that I been on
Well, it keeps on bangin till dawn
