Marty Lyrics

Album: Cheeses Of Nazareth (2003) he went to all the shows Marty was a punk rocker and two rings in his nose He had an old nash rambler no insurance not much gas Patches on swiss army pants and a dancing hula girl that bobbled on his dash Feeling kind of stupid he drove his ugly car to the edge of town One day he broke down he sunk it in the quarry and cause the rear defroster never worked too good just because he could Marty where you going whatcha going to? if it changes you? When this woorld runs out of answers whats the point in not conforming would you even know Does the truth have any bearing on which way you go? He took the bus to Santa Cruz he hitchkhiked to LA a preacherman picked him up those who ask the questions and drove him half the way he said theres two kinds of people that ive met and those who dont ask questions yet then he turned asking marty which one that he thought he was Marty shrugged and shook his head just because someone else told you it was cool forgetting what the question was did you ever think they might be right you'd do almost almost anything someone told you not to do remember long ago when someone said get a life Marty was a rebel never had a cause it may be stupid and cliche but thats because he was he was neither hot or cold just boring and lukewarm he spent his whole life straying from the norm it didnt seem to bother him he didnt seem to mind his cathartic life just buried somewhere in the timeline

The band announced they were recording new material on November 22, 2011. Five Iron Frenzy started as a local side-project of Reese, Keith, Micah, and Scott's band Exhumator. The band members never took themselves too seriously. Even the name started out as an inside joke.
