It was the spring of 2008 when Lazarus Dexter Ward and William van Helsing found that the sun was a bit too bright and the birds were returning and singing way too happily. So it was clearly a good time to start a doom band to maintain the balance between lovely and warm weather and slow and ominous sonical assault. The two doomsters cast a spell upon the holy grounds of Äänekoski to summon Jebediah Lagus to complete the trio and Love of God was born.
