Material World Lyrics

We all have to get closer,
we still try to deny that,
we're stuck in the material world.
With heads full of disdain
we stroll to be found.
There's a spot in the system,
there's a huge lack of ground.
Lords of the values
they step inside our brains.
We're the masters of surface
in material chains.
They say God is the saviour
- one life - OK,
so let's die to remember
this glorious way.
We got a world
full of donkeys.
We're the eternal fall of man.

We descend from the monkeys
and here we go again.
We all have to get closer,
we still try to deny that,
we're stuck in the material world
and we know...
we all have to get closer,
we still try to deny that,
we're stuck in the material world.
They say God is the saviour
- one life - OK,
so let's die to remember
this glorious way.
We got a world
full of donkeys.
We're the eternal fall of man.
We descend from the monkeys
and here we go again.
We all have to get closer,
we still try to deny that,
we're stuck in the material world
and we know...
we all have to get closer,
we still try to deny that,
we're stuck in the material world.
There's a trouble
in our values,
trouble in our brains,
trouble in the same
old circles.
We don't need to justify,
we don't need, we can't.
We have to begin now -
not tomorrow... hey hey!
We all have to get closer,
we still try to deny that,
we're stuck in the material world
and we know...
We all have to get closer,
we still try to deny that,
we're stuck in the material world.
We all... we all...
we're stuck in the material world.
We all have to get closer,
we still try to deny that,
we're stuck in the material world
and we know...
We all have to get closer,
we still try to deny that,
we're stuck in the material world.
World.
