Me and Mrs. Jones Lyrics

Me and Mrs. Jones, we got a thing going on
We both know that it's wrong
But it's much too strong to let it cool down nowWe meet every day at the same cafe
Six-thirty I know she'll be there
Holding hands, making all kinds of plans
While the jukebox plays our favorite songMe and Mrs., Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. JonesMrs. Jones got a thing going on, we both know that it's wrong
But it's much too strong to let it cool down now
We gotta be extra careful that we don't build our hopes too high
'Cause she's got her own obligations and so do IMe, me and Mrs., Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. JonesMrs. Jones got a thing going on, we both know that it's wrong
But it's much too strong to let it cool down now
Well, it's time for us to be leaving
It hurts so much, it hurts so much insideNow she'll go her way and I'll go mine
But tomorrow we'll meet the same place, the same time
Me and Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones

The Dramatics are a soul music vocal group, formed in 1962 with the name The Dynamics. They changed their name by 1967, when they garnered their first minor hit "All Because Of You." However, the group didn't break through until their 1971 single, "Whatcha See Is Watcha Get." Their members at this time were Ron Banks, "Wee Gee" Howard, Elbert Wilkins, Willie Ford and Larry Demps. Shortly after the success of their first album, Howard and Wilkins left the group. They were replaced by L.J. Reynolds and Lenny Mayes.
