THE SNIPS from Latvia exist from 2006 and The Snips from Canada changed their name from The Ceremonial Snips to The Snips in 2010. So starting from 2010 there are 2 bands with the name The Snips. 1) THE SNIPS (Riga, Latvia)
“THE SNIPS” are a punk-electronic duo from Riga, Latvia, consisting of drummer Shurik Solovyov and guitarist and vocalist Dmitri Borisenkov. The band emerged in 2006 and have released 1 EP the same year and official LP “Viva La Rock’n’Roll” in 2011.
