Meetings With Remarkable Men (Show Me the Hero) Lyrics

I had a lovely brunch with Jesus Christ.
He said, "two words about inanity: fundamental christianity."
The food was very nice.
But then He had to go and die for my sins and stick my ass with the check."Show me a hero and il write you a tragedy,"
(Go near an open window and thatl be the end of me).I bowed before the avatar.
He said, "the problem clear to me: you never got over morrissey."
I said "well, right you are!"
"It so much harder to be underfed than under-understood," he said.I went to see KIP WINGER!
He said, "In my day we knew how to party; bands today, con, not hardly."
He had a back-up singer (doo doo doo doo).

Harvey Danger was a rock band that formed in Seattle, Washington in 1992, and rose to prominence in 1998 with the single "Flagpole Sitta", from their debut album "Where Have All The Merrymakers Gone?". The band released a new album in 2005, Little by Little..., after the five year hiatus that followed the release of their sophomore album "King James Version". Harvey Danger has a devoted cult following but is widely considered to be a one-hit wonder, mainly due to limited mainstream radio airplay and a lack of decent record deals.
