Melt Lyrics

Here every eye is a mirror
Here every act is a crime
Here every present's a poison
Here every wall is a spyWhen you say, "Turn"
They all start to turn
When you say, "Dive"
They're all on their kneesPretending to guide me
You led me astray
And I don't want to fall
Into your kind of ways
I will never sway
And see things that wayHere every move is an error
Here every breath is a fact
Here every ear is a danger
Here every smile is a trapHere
Here
Turn! Start! Turn! Dive!Pretending to guide me
You led me astray

And I don't want to fall
Into your kind of waysWhen you say, "Turn"
They all start to turn
When you say, "Dive"
They're all on their kneesWhen you say, "Turn"
Turn! Start! Turn! Dive!
Turn! Start! Turn! Dive!I know you'll never take me
Don't even think you'll break me
Be sure you'll never take me
I'm gonna make you seeTurn! Start! Turn! Dive!
Turn! Start! Turn! Dive!
Turn! Start! Turn! Dive!
Turn! Start! Turn! Dive!Turn! Start! Turn! Dive!
Turn! Start! Turn! Dive!
Turn! Start! Turn! Dive!
Turn! Start! Turn! Dive!Pretending to guide me
You led me astray
And I don't want to fall
Into your kind of waysPretending to guide me
You led me astray
And I don't want to fall
Into your kind of waysPretending to guide me
You led me astray
And I don't want to fall
Into your kind of ways

"Front 242" is a pioneering Belgian electronic body music group that came into prominence during the 1980s. For years to come they took the lead in electronic music composition. During their most active period (they decided to quit ebm in 1993 with the albums "06:21:03:11 UP EVIL" and "05:22:09:12 Off") they were influential to many electro-industrial and electronic artists. The origin of "Front 242" should be understood within the rise of industrial music, which originated in England in 1975 with the first performances of "Cabaret Voltaire" and "Throbbing Gristle".
