Memories Of You Lyrics

Embrace me, my sweet embraceable you
Embrace me, you irreplaceable youJust one look at you
My heart grew tipsy in me
You and you alone
Bring out the gypsy in meI love all the many charms about you
Above all, I want these arms about youDon't be a naughty baby
Come to papa, come to papa do
My sweet embraceable youI love all the many charms about you
Above all, I want my arms about youSo don't you be, a naughty baby
Come to papa do
My sweet embraceable you

Clifford Brown (October 30, 1930 – June 26, 1956), aka "Brownie," was an American jazz trumpeter. He died aged 25 in a car accident, leaving behind only four years' worth of recordings. Nonetheless, he had a considerable influence on later jazz trumpet players, including Donald Byrd, Lee Morgan, Booker Little, and Freddie Hubbard, among others. He was also a composer of note: two of his compositions, "Joy Spring" and "Daahoud", have become jazz standards.
