Mercy, Mercy, Mercy Lyrics

Too bad, that we just can’t get along
Too bad that you think that I am wrong
But now you have taken me by surprise
You say that you wanna say goodbye
Sweet baby, have some mercy, mercy mercy mercy
Have some mercy, mercy mercy mercy, babe
Do you have to be so mean?
Won’t you lighten up on me?
And show some mercy, I love you,
just have some mercy, mercy, please
We shared many many joyous years
We shared all the heartaches and the tears
You say that we both should need a change
I know you been acting mighty strange
You should have some mercy, show a little mercy
Think what it would do to my poor heart
Darling won’t you make a start, yeah

You’d be nothing if we part
So have some mercy, I need you,
please have some mercy, mercy, girl..
