Message To You Lyrics

Excuse me, may I interrupt you?
There's something I must tell you
There's someone special in there waiting
Who wants to meet you
They have a message (They got a message)
For you
[scatting]
If I could only take a second
Or even just a minute
I'd like to give you all your lifetime
And put you in it
They have a message (They have a message)
For you
All I wanna do is give you yourself

If you haven't got you, then there ain't nobody else
If you listen late at night, you can hear someone cry
The little voice is callin' you the victim of the lie
Nothing else makes sense, break down the fences
To the truth of yourself, without the defenses
Nothing could be greater than the great imitator
Fallin' prey to the truth that will set your soul free
Happiness is simply your dreams coming true
And your dreams will come true if you're just true to you.
[scatting]
There's really nothing else that can set you free
There's nothing else that makes sense to you and me
The time is right now, there's no more fight now,
Just meet yourself and then you'll learn to see
Excuse me, may I interrupt you?
There's something I must tell you
There's someone special in there waiting
Who wants to meet you
They have a message
[scatting]
They got a message...
