Metal Shoes Lyrics

I
Have found no reason for this lie
I think about it every night
How do we know whats wrong or right?
How do we know it's wrong to fight?
The awkward silence in this room
I hope somebody will talk soon
The paranoia in my head
Waiting for something to be said
Nothing will ever be the same
I can't find anyone to blame
I
I hate the neighbours down the street
Their stupid daughter likes to cheat
At everything she ever does
She says she does it just because

The booming noices in my head
The leaky motor in the shed
The latest music on T.V.
What does this have to do with me?
But it
Feels like the world around me
Is spinning way too fast
I hope that it will slow on down
And let me move on past
I
I never felt like I was free
Somebody's always stopping me
And putting bullshit in my head
Why
Do they always have to pry
Into my life it makes my cry
So tell me what's the point of life?
But it
Feels like the world around me
Is spinning way too fast
I hope that it will slow on down
And let me move on past
I hate when things get in my way
Cause all it seems to do
Is make me feel like I'm stuck
In a pair of metal shoes
Somebody help me I hope i'm not crazy
But I don't know what to do
Everything's changing my whole life's rearranging
And all I can think of is you
Is you IS YOU!

This Rigid Empire is an edgy punk explosion from the town of Orillia, Ontario. Originally formed in 2005 under the name "Hippypunks", This Rigid Empire has undergone many member changes and of course an epic name change. The TRE you know today was established in 2008. Ben Taylor leads the vocals of the group and rips massive balls on the guitar. Patrick Attenborough is the second vocalist and rocks the shizz on bass. Reid Goobie melts faces with his wicked shredding and beat boxing skills. Jordan Nieuwhof busts heads on the drums.
