Mexican Hardcore Lyrics

Went to New Mexico with dependencies and lies
You met a girl that smacked you in your bed
She said in June you’ll find me but in August I’ll be gone
And I will leave you crying on the ground
And the rings we switched I melt them down to pure gold
I pawned them yesterday, they’re gone
All your tries won’t make me jealous anyway
So don’t try to find me, babe, my love is dead
She’s got hot finger tips, got a jacket pin, it’s a twiggy
Hot murderess on the main street hunts you down
And all the time she just smiles between marmalades and eyes
Hot silver, she was just too much, poor boy
It’s time to go now ‘cause she just stabbed you on the floor
With a knife she broke off in your mind
Take your time and you will see what I mean when I say strike
Hold on, girl, you cannot comfort me
And the rings we switched I melt them down to pure gold
I pawned them yesterday, they’re gone

All your tries won’t make me jealous anyway
So don’t try to find me, babe, my love is dead
Hot finger tips, got a jacket pin, it’s a twiggy
Hot murderess on the main street hunts you down
And all the time she just smiles between marmalades and eyes
All the time she just smiles between marmalades and eyes
Hot silver, she was just too much, poor boy
And the rings we switched I melt them down to pure gold
I pawned them yesterday, they’re gone
All your tries won’t make me jealous anyway
So don’t try to find me, babe, my love is dead
She’s got hot finger tips, got a jacket pin, it’s a twiggy
Hot murderess on the main street hunts you down
And all the time she just smiles between marmalades and eyes
All the time she just smiles between marmalades and eyes
Hot silver, she was just too much, poor boy
My poor boy
My poor boy
You’re my poor boy

Mando Diao are a rock band from Borlänge, Sweden. According to the band, the name Mando Diao has no meaning at all, but rather appeared to band member Björn Dixgård in a dream. Their sound is influenced by The Animals and Oasis. The roots of Mando Diao date back to 1995 when Björn Dixgård was a member of a band called Butler. Band members came and went; four years later, the remaining line-up chose to proceed more seriously in their musical efforts. Björn Dixgård and Gustaf Norén locked themselves up in a summer house and spent six months writing songs.
