Midnight Lyrics

MidnightIt started out like any other day
But it was anythin' but
Somethin' 'bout the way the moon was shinin'
Somethin' seems so different, noGot in my car but didn't have no reason
Swear I was drivin' but somethin' else was leadin' me
Lost all track of time, damn
The next thing, you won't believeAt 9 o'clock, I saw her
By 10, I had her number
11's when I called her
At 12 o'clock, it happened, I gotta blameMidnight, I was caught up
It's like I couldn't help myself if I wanted to
(Blame it on midnight)
If she found out about us, would it be a good excuse?
(Midnight)It's 12 o'clock, tick tock tick, the clothes drop
She's on top and I don't even wanna stop, no
Made me disregard and break my baby's heart
I know I did wrong but I blame it on midnightStill here I know I'm in trouble
But I'ma finish what I started

My heart is tellin' me to leave here
But my body's sayin' stay longerWe goin' strong while my cell phone's blowin' up
I know it's wrong but somethin' else is leadin' me
Lost all track of time, damn
The sex is just too good to leaveAt 1 o'clock, I'm in it
2 o'clock, still in it
Then 3 o'clock, I'm finished
At 4 o'clock, I'm drivin' home, I gotta blameMidnight, I was caught up
It's like I couldn't help myself if I wanted to
(Blame it on midnight)
If she found out about us, would it be a good excuse?
(Midnight)It's 12 o'clock, tick tock tick, the clothes drop
She's on top and I don't even wanna stop, no
Made me disregard and break my baby's heart
I know I did wrong but I blame it on midnightWhat have ya done, it's 5 A.M., oh
Hookin' up wit somebody that you don't even know
How you gonna get yourself outta this one
You got a girl at homeI can blame it on my car breakin' down or
I can say I was workin' late and didn't know
That you was waitin' up, I never showed up
Girl, I know it's my faultMidnight, I was caught up
It's like I couldn't help myself if I wanted to
(Blame it on midnight)
If she found out about us, would it be a good excuse?
(Midnight)It's 12 o'clock, tick tock tick, the clothes drop
She's on top and I don't even wanna stop, no
Made me disregard and break my baby's heart
I know I did wrong but I blame it on midnightMidnight, I was caught up
It's like I couldn't help myself if I wanted to
(Blame it on midnight)
If she found out about us, would it be a good excuse?
(Midnight)It's 12 o'clock, tick tock tick, the clothes drop
She's on top and I don't even wanna stop

Omari Ishmael Grandberry (born November 12, 1984 in Inglewood, California), better known as Omarion, is an American Grammy nominated R&B singer, actor and former lead singer of B2K. He released his debut solo album O in 2005, it went Platinum and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. In 2006 his second album, 21, also debuted at #1 and went Gold, selling over 900,000 copies worldwide. In 2007 he collaborated with rapper Bow Wow and they released an album together entitled Face Off. Recently he announced that he had signed to producer Timbaland's Mosley Music Group and Lil Wayne's Young Money label, but he left both of these labels to eventually sign with EMI.

Born and raised in Inglewood, California, Omarion rose to fame while still a teen as a member of the groundbreaking urban "boy band" B2K. His soulful vocals, riveting stage presence, and undeniable charisma helped B2K score a hit with the group's very first single, "Uh Huh," in 2001; achieve gold status with the group's self-titled debut album in 2002; and go RIAA platinum with the group's best-selling sophomore outing, Pandemonium! in 2003.

Omarion's undeniable media-geniality has led to numerous television guest appearances including "Punk'd," "The Sharon Osbourne Show," "Regis & Kelly" and the "American Music Awards." In addition to his musical performances, Omarion has acted on the big screen with key roles in "You Got Served" and "Fat Albert." Omarion stars in "Somebody Help Me," an innovative horror film directed by Chris Stokes and may be seen in the film "Feel The Noise" and Tyger ("Menace II Society") Williams' "Street Soldier."

For season five of America's Best Dance Crew on MTV, Omarion replaced Shane Sparks as a judge.

Currently he's signed to Rick Ross's label.
