Midnight Lyrics

MidnightI know where I am that's right I know where I'm goin' shut down -
vacant city Ghost town - Tensions risin' Kick kick kick the door in Look look
look around andAffairs affairs of the nationWhen the pressure came down Sus-
tain authorityMidnight - I know I canThat's right - I ain't broken...
motorcycle ride.
NAME:
You don't know my name man you don't know my namePaint a number on my head
work me till I'm deadI can believe I've wasted all of these years I've tasted
A million days & nights all this pain and struggle all for whatI askAll the
hate & troublePunch drunk from the punch clock opportunity never gonna knock
no more blue collarAll the unions gettin' smallerOne million nights & all
the pain and struggle all for whatI ask all the hate and trouble...
[email protected]
There's a place where I like to go when I got no food or I got no shelter
It's a house where I can get away for maybe three days to get off the drink
and hazeWho's the oppositionI'm 7 years downThe human spirit prevails yeah
I'm down down downWoke up in the bushes 6:30 Tuesday morning with an unopened
Heineken end ahead That was burning for 7 years I walked the same path dreams

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
