Midnight Train to Georgia Lyrics

Shoo-wap, do-do-do, do-do
Shoo-wap, do-do-do, do-do
Ooh, la, it proved too much for the girl
(too much for the girl)
She couldn't make it (oooh)
Now she's leaving her life that she's come to know
She's leaving (leaving, ooh)
On a midnight train to georgia
(leaving on a midnight train to georgia)
I said she's goin'
She's goin' back to find a simpler place in time
(a simpler place in time, goin' now to stay right by her side)
Now I'll be with her
On that midnight train to georgia
(leaving on a midnight train to georgia)
I'd rather live in her world
Than live without her in mine

(her world is his, his and her's alone)
(wap-do-do-do, do do)
(shoo-wap, do-do-do, do-do-dooo)
