Mile High Lyrics

Nothing's gonna shake me
And nothing's gonna to bring me down
Nothing's gonna shake me
And nothing's gonna to make me changeThat's the way I am and I'll always be the same
Yeah, oh, nothing's gonna shake me
Nothings gonna to make me change
That's the way I am and I'll always be the sameAnd it's one, two, three, four everybody out the door
Let's go everyone everbody's got a gun
One, two, three, today is so easy
It's just a little bit of that simple simplicity, owEverything is shimmering
(One, two, three, four, everybody out the door)
Let's go [Incomprehensible] fast
(Let's go everyone everybody's got a gun)And everything that happened to me
(One, two, three, today is so easy)
Happened to me for the best
(It's just a little bit of that simple simplicity)
OhGot an action packed extravaganza
I got a sweet haiku

I got the cash to cover the action
I got the soul for youThere's a flag I wanna fly
A mountain that I put in time
I was always on my wayNothing's gonna shake me
And nothing's gonna make me change
That's the way I am and I'll always be the sameMile high, mile high
Mile high, mile high
Mile high

Morphine was formed in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States in 1990 by Mark Sandman (vocals, bass) and Dana Colley (saxophone). Jerome Dupree became the group's drummer in 1991 prior to the release of their debut album, Good. "Low Rock" is Morphine's unique combination of jazz, blues and pop/rock, sung with darkly comic and ironic lyrics. Their guitarless sound relied on an unusual combination of baritone/tenor sax, percussion and a two string slide bass.
