Mind Full of Daggers Lyrics

I get the feeling, I'm down on my knees waiting to serve you
I can't take much more of this policeman state
And when I'm up, you try to put me down back in the cage babe
You're never too soon but you're always too late, oh yeahEverything you are is everything you want
Everything you want is everything you needOh, hey Joe, I'm so sorry for you now 'cause you'll never live me down
I'm the girl in the Licks Juliette, Juliette, say my name, bitch
You got that gentleman's swagger and mind full of daggers, leave me alone
That 13 inch boot don't make you a man, know how?Everything you are is everything you want
Everything you want is everything you need
And everything you need is everything you try to take from me
Everything don't mean a thing, noI don't care what you say
You can go your own way, baby
I don't care what you say
You can go your own waySo you found another weak one to put under your thumb
You found another weak one to bang like a drum
Every time I'm up, you try to put me down back in the cage, baby
And when I'm up, you try to put me down, down, downEverything you are is everything you want
Everything you want is everything you need

And everything you need is everything you try to take from me
Everything don't mean a thing, noI'm sick and tired of all your duplicity
And everything you change in me, change in me
Everything, everything
Everything you want, you want

Juliette and the Licks was an american rock band formed in the United States in 2003 by american actor Juliette Lewis. Other band members included guitarist Craig Fairbaugh and guitarist Emilio Cueto, bassist Jason Womack and drummer Ed Davis. Their popular songs include "You're Speaking My Language" and "Hot Kiss". The band broke up in 2009. Juliette and the Licks became a reality when Lewis accompanied Patty Schemel, drummer for Hole, to a Blondie concert and found herself staring at fate. She became instantly inspired by the “live” element of the show and knew it was her calling.
