Miracle of Love Lyrics

Days are growing shorter, the night is closing in
Time is so much older and hope is getting thin
We seem quite content believing nothing can go wrong
So we go on, we go onLost in some euphoria we dream our lives away
Certain that tomorrow will be better than today
We seem quite content to do exactly as we please
Let it set our minds at ease and we go onSo we look to the miracle of love
So we look to the miracle of loveTruth is our deception and pleasure is our friend
Just around the rainbow lies a treasure at its end
Could it be that what we seek is all within our hands?
Only no one understands and we go onSo we look to the miracle of love
So we look to the miracle of lovePanic screams for order but no one hears the cry
Film is on the water, hate is in the sky
Organized confusion is working out its plan
Though we try to stop it, it spreads throughout the landAnd we who understand it all do nothing more than say
That there is no other way and we go onWill we look to the miracle of love?
Still we look to the miracle of love
Will we look to the miracle of love?

Still we look to the miracle of loveWill we look to the miracle of love?
Still we look to the miracle of love
Will we look to the miracle of love?

In late 1972, American blues rock multi-instrumentalist Edgar Winter brought together Dan Hartman, Ronnie Montrose, and Chuck Ruff to form the Edgar Winter Group, the legendary band that created such classic rock hits as the number one "Frankenstein" and the ever popular "Free Ride". Released in 1973, the band's debut album, 'They Only Come Out at Night', peaked at the number 3 position on the Billboard Hot 200 and stayed on the charts for an impressive 80 weeks. It was certified gold in April 1973 and double platinum in November 1986.
