Mississippi Honeymoon Lyrics

Mississippi Honeymoon
Mississippi Honeymoon
Mississippi Honeymoon
Mississippi Honeymoon
Mississippi Honeymoon
Mississippi Honeymoon
And the time is right
for the sound of the river
smell of the grass
in the yellow moonlight
in the big wet night, ooh, ooh
And the end's in sight
End of a life alone
we'll fly our new love
like a big white kite

Mississippi Honeymoon
Mississippi Honeymoon
Mississippi Honeymoon
Mississippi Honeymoon
And our skin makes sound
and the stars are stinging' and
the feel of the boards on our backs
and the dew on the ground
Honeymoon
Mississippi Honeymoon
Mississippi Honeymoon
Mississippi Honeymoon
Mississippi Honeymoon
And the house above is old and grey
and the sky looks deeper than it was
just yesterday
And the grass is blue
and the water is dark and sweet
and I surrender to you
And we build our boat
and we leave the shore
and we live our lives
completely
