Mistaken (feat. Steve Davit) Lyrics

I've been tryna wipe you outta my mind,
Begging you to call me some other time,
Lookin' in the rear view,
Hoping that I leave you, behind,Thinking bout the things that I know I shouldn't do,
Thinking bout how I don't ever need you,
Thinking bout you daily,
Thinkin' maybe you should, come through,I been trying to shake it,
But I know there ain't no mistaken,
I been tryna shake it,
But I know there ain't no mistaken,
Thought I could deny this craving,
Call me crazy,
Now I'm cravin',
Thought that I could break it but I think you know,
There ain't no mistaken,There ain't no mistaken,I been tryna get you outta my head,
Now with all the extra space in my bed,
Falling into day dreams,
Now I think I've found what, you said,Boy you got the high life,

Double time swing,
Living like a lowkey summertime drink,
Don't know how to fight it,
Tell me baby,
What do, you think?I been trying to shake it,
But I know there ain't no mistaken,
I been tryna shake it,
But I know there ain't no mistaken,
Thought I could deny this craving,
Call me crazy,
Now I'm cravin',
Thought that I could break it but I think you know,
There ain't no mistaken,There ain't no mistaken,Try so hard, to get free,
Breaking with the current boy,
Up my guard, couldn't see,
We were right in front of me,
I can't sleep, can't you see,
baby what you do to me,
tried so hard, now I see,
there aint no --I been trying to shake it,
But I know there ain't no mistaken,
I been trying shake it,
But I know there ain't no mistaken,
Thought I could deny this craving,
Call me crazy,
Now I'm cravin',
Thought that I could break it but I think you know,
There ain't no mistaken,There ain't no mistaken

A Philadelphia electronic pop duo comprised of Jeremy Lloyd (production/songwriting) and Samantha Gongol (vocals/songwriting). The pair’s roots can be traced back as far as a middle school talent show that saw Lloyd - the son of a conductor and an opera singer - hear Gongol sing for the first time. Many a moon down the line, following a stint studying music composition at college for Lloyd while Gongol was cutting her teeth in New York as a songwriter, the pair reunited in the former’s bedroom studio.
